The online marketing paradigm shift you can't miss: Is Futuristic Marketing the answer ?

By Sebastian MacKer

In the online marketing world we are seeing a huge paradigm shift. Just as any area of business the marketing world is a constantly moving target and has been pretty much forever. This has been elevated to new levels of speed with the entrance of the internet. The speed with which things are changing online shows no signs of slowing down in the near future.

It doesn't matter what business you may be in you are likely going to need to market online or you will be limiting your ability to grow. The Futuristic marketing experts are frantically running to understand this silent shift we are currently seeing toward what I call a socialized environment. Those that do not act on this today will surely face online marketing disaster tomorrow.

Tweets, likes, comments, replies, shares, groups, circles and much more have taken over without us even really noticing. I can tell you that the truly aware marketing experts have seen it and understand just what it means. As more people flock to the internet every day this becomes crucial for any business promoter of any kind to fully understand. If you do not It is my suggestion you do it immediately or you will get left behind wondering what happened.

Google has been the king of delivering quality content to us on the internet for years. They have earned the right to do this by being dedicated to a mission to deliver the exact information we seek on demand and weeding out all the noisy garbage. Then Facebook came and changed everything. Google, being the wise internet master they are saw immediately what that was going to mean and went to work. Quietly they are getting on the train of social connection for which Facebook has paved the way. The main reason is this is congruent with Google's core mission.

Enter Google +1 and google circles. Similar to what facebook offers with Google twists. The details are for another day. The connection here is this, and pay close attention. Some day soon, very soon, the content we all see when we type in words into a search box will be predominately driven by that content, page , product, business, person etc's ability to have people engage with them, share them, like them and/or give positive feedback to them. That is huge and my advice is find a way to leverage this new direction NOW.
