Give All The Value Upfront, Ask For The Money Later

By Lanell Beckles

How dedicated are you to being one the few successful people online? By successful, I mean, making money. Quite honestly, there are a lot of people out there who are making no money and believe they should be paid well, but there is big difference between the people who have hundreds of thousands of visitors in a day and the people who have a hundred visitors a month.

A website that has been online for a longer time can help traffic, but that may not be the case. Traffic does increase over time, but traffic will flood when you are providing great value. There are two ways to increase you traffic organically and you can implement one of the ways now.

No one else online is you. No one has the same experiences, no one has the same life, and no one talks like you. Honestly, if you embrace your individuality and start blogging away about your life and create some compelling content and lessons around the things you learned in life, you would gain some followers. It's the reason people follow people; they don't follow information. Information is plentiful, but there are very few genuine people who let people into their lives.

Mastering the art of presenting information from your unique voice will only carry you so far. If you want to walk away from your offline life and make a living online, immerse yourself in learning skills that you can teach the public. Be a student of your craft and what you're providing and keep providing great value.

Word of mouth will spread fast of your value. This is the perfect time to capitalize and monetize your growing fan base. Introduce great products and services to your following and build in the buying trust. Once you have gained the trust from you followers, you will be able to write your own checks.

Build your value first through the expression of your personality. After that, you will be based on your uniqueness in your delivery of new content in your field.
