Scott Brodsky & Those Who Understand Technology

By Rob Sutter

For those who are unfamiliar with the name of Scott Brodsky, allow me a sentence or two to fill you in. This man is the CEO and President of a major digital appliance distributor and his success speaks for itself. Considering that the items he and his team market are some of the best for any business to utilize, I think it's safe to say that he understands technology well. In fact, there are a number of people in the world who could be deemed authorities on the matter, too.

Empire Digital Products is what the company is called and it's one that works specifically with printers. These appliances don't seem to be much different than those you may commonly see but you can be certain that they have much more in the way of unique technology than others. Scott Brodsky takes care of matters concerning the company from one day to the next. It's something that goes without saying as he is the President and CEO but who else shares that sharp mindset for technology?

I don't think it's difficult to see why Shigeru Miyamoto is so heavily regarded in the video game world. He is part of Nintendo's legacy for as long as he lives and even after he's gone, which goes without saying. Without him, who's to say where Nintendo's success would be? Who's to say that there would even be a Nintendo at all? Miyamoto almost seems to look at games from a youthful perspective and I think that is needed for someone who has been in the industry as long as he has.

You have to think about the people who were at the forefront of such great products we use today and Steve Jobs was definitely one man who understood gadgetry. After all, one of the men behind Apple also brought the iPod into fruition, so you have to give him credit on that account. Whether or not you use products of this brand, he seemed to utilize these trendy ideas so that consumers could better utilize them. Even after his passing, his impact could still be seen.

I believe that you have to possess a certain mindset in order to truly comprehend the inner workings of technology. Even as I've worked with a number of devices in the past, there are still aspects which I struggle to comprehend. It's clear that people have to work hard in order to truly grasp what makes these devices so brilliant. This is the quality shared by people such as Scott Brodsky and I don't know if you're going to see that level of mentality very often.
