Important Points About Offline Marketing of Your Web Business

By Hermina Tzeng

As an Internet Marketer you spend most of your day online and there isn't anything wrong with this. If you asked a lot of people, then you would no doubt find out that a healthy percentage are not on the web 24/7. That is where offline marketing comes into the story and how you can leverage that with those people. You are about to discover three tips for reaching the people who are more offline than online.

Get in the habit of participating in local events and such where you live, and you want to meet people this way. Do not think that you have nothing to offer, but your business has to be accessible and in demand by local people. This is networking plus branding, and you are not there to sell but to be seen and meet people. You can bring in your physical products and sell them. One thing is that people may not be there to buy, and that is fine because you can still get contacts. Your market is all over the place, and that means it will be there where you live.

See what is possible with local radio stations where you live and even college radio, etc. Since so many people are glued to the TV each day, then you potentially have excellent reach with it.

So what you should think about doing is using the phone for outbound calls to people. Simply make a list of the businesses that either relate to your own niche or that would be well served by your services or products and call them up to let them know you exist. Be careful when you do this because it is pretty easy to scare people because they just don't want to hear it.

Offline marketing is not just for offline businesses. If others choose to ignore offline marketing that is there problem and not yours. If you aren't marketing offline you are simply ignoring an entire income stream and that is bad for your bottom line and your profit margin. You may find out that your products are not the best offer such as if they are CPA, for instance.
