The Meaning Of Empowerment In Being A Woman

Being a woman has a multitude of different meanings for women because of the variety of needs they have to address from becoming a mother and caregiver to businesswoman. Individuals have been described as diverse in their personality and skill to take on a number of roles in attending to the needs of others. In modern society more women are becoming career oriented and working towards making a statement in the world of business.

Through the process of empowerment, individuals are finding the ability to seek equal opportunities in terms of career goals. To be empowered involves independence. Through resources such as support from loved ones and life coaches, others are utilizing their potential in striving for achieving set goals.

Every individual will have a different opinion with regard to what it means to be empowered. Businesswomen have often stated that the feeling of empowerment is more of a tendency to be in control and secure in their position. Those who experience the ongoing gap between men and women when it comes to career related opportunities and wages, have reported that women are still in the process of becoming empowered.

With an increase in the pursuit of tertiary education, women are becoming a major threat in the world of work. There is still a need for many to learn the balance between exercising control over others while handling the demanding tasks within business. Women are fortunate in possessing necessary skills to tend to all aspects of personal and professional life.

Women experience many wonderful advantages over men and this is even evident in taking a closer look at history and art. Women have always been the subject of artistic desires as a result of their timeless beauty and soft form. There are those who have been worshiped as goddesses for their immense power, presence, appeal and essence.

Ladies are able to take charge and are capable of articulating their thoughts in a clear manner. It has been scientifically proven that the left hemisphere which is responsible for speech and literacy is better developed in women than in men. Not only does this contribute to enhanced relationships and desirability as a companion but also in becoming a solid business partner.

A female within a position of authority is seen as more nurturing yet assertive than their male counterparts. They have been recognized for an increased ability to open lines of communication and take charge in business matters that require attention. Being a woman may be summarized as the ability to overcome hardships and possess the unconditional love in caring for her family.
